Merging the former LEG (Grenoble Power Electrical Laboratory), LEMD (Laboratory of Electrostatics and Dielectric Materials), and LMN (Laboratory of Magnetism of the Ship) in 2007, G2Elab nowadays covers a wide spectrum of expertise in the field Electrical Engineering. Its activity can be summarized by the following keywords: electrical energy, materials, innovative processes and systems, modeling and design methods and software. The research carried out in G2Elab ranges from long term research up to collaborative research supported by a strong involvement in partnerships with large compagnies and SMEs. With more than 100 permanent staff, 110 PhD and 50 Masters, G2Elab appears as a major actor both nationally and internationally in these areas.
The close partnership between G2Elab and Vesta-System adresses every fields of our activity. G2Elab is at the origin of our technologies and remains a key partner for their evolutions.
Vesta-System belongs to the following clusters
Minalogic the French digital cluster for micro- and nanoelectronics and software, brings together the Rhône-Alpes region’s leading innovators in the field of smart miniaturized systems.
By leveraging the Grenoble area’s synergies between research, higher education, and industry, we have achieved a global leadership position in smart systems. Our cluster actively facilitates networking among innovators, manufacturers, and investors to get new technologies to market quickly..
Tenerrdis supports new energy technology companies across France’s dynamic Rhône-Alpes region in their efforts to expand their footprint in the global carbon-free energy market.
If these companies are to effectively seize the opportunities this growing market has to offer, they must work together across the entire value chain.
By facilitating partnerships among businesses, research centers, education, and other organizations spanning the public and private sectors, Tenerrdis creates the collaborative ecosystem needed to foster new energy technology projects that build expertise, generate new business opportunities, and create jobs.
The European magazine International Innovation, in issue 173, talks about how Vesta-System impacts PRECISION projects, along with Delta Dore, Siemens - LMS, Grenoble INP (G2Elab, G-SCOP), CEA-Ines, MinesParisTech, IFSTTAR, Université de Bordeaux.
Vesta-System is proud to announce that its solution VestaEnergy will be the key solution for energy management of the first neighborhood of Lyon Confluence 2.
